HISTORY

October 1995	Taihou Kinzoku was founded by Takamasa Miyachika.
May 1996	Company changed from a personal business to a coporation.
May 1998	Head office moved to Matsushima, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka due to business expansion.
May 2001	Company building completed and head office relocated to Sue-cho, Kasuya-gun.
March 2003	Started research and development of flood barriers and doors. Established Water Protection Flood Panel (Tide Barrier) design department.
June 2003	The company was restructured as a joint -stock company and Taihou Kinzoku Co., Ltd. was established. Capital 10 million yen.
September 2003	Introduced aluminium cutting machine ACA-200 and expanded the factory at the same time.
December 2003	Expanded design room.
May 2004	Obtained approval from Fukuoka Prefectural Governor.
April 2006	Introduced NC sash processing machine FB-6000DT.
August 2008	Miyakonojo Sales Office opened.
July 2009	Introduced cutting machine Free Cross Cut Saw ACG ll type (automatic type).
July 2010	Opened Tokyo office.
December 2011	Moved Tokyo office to Adachi ward.
November 2012	Moved Fukuoka head office to new building. Increased capital from 10 million to 20 million yen.
September 2013	Obtained approval from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
February 2015	Expanded room due to development of Flood Lock.
July 2021	Introduced AMADA sheer, turret punch and bender machines.
November 2021	Takashi Miyachika appointed as new CEO.
March 2025	Opened Osaka office.
